AMAG will be joining PORTO ACADEMY visiting SWEDEN and MENDRISIO.

With this partnership we celebrate our common passion for architecture and will grant the opportunity to all AMAG SUBSCRIBERS to take part of this unique experience by the half of the regular price.

Porto Academy Visiting Sweden from 14 to 21 of June, will take place in Stockholm and in Växjö, in the Småland region of Sweden. This program will make an introduction to Swedish culture with visits to important architectural references in Stockholm and also historical examples in the Småland region and will take the study cases given by the local industry, its technology and industrial offer to enable a new design of prefab houses and shelters. Porto Academy Visiting School program consists in a weeklong workshop studio with lectures, study trips, critiques, exhibition sets and production of editorial content.

Participants will be visiting buildings by Arquitectura G, Gunnar Asplund, Hans Asplund, Ivar Tengbom, Johannes Norlander, Johan Celsing, Norell Rodhe, OMA, Peter Celsing and Sigurd Lewerentz.

Porto Academy Visiting USI_ARC Mendrisio from 18th to 25th July, will be a celebration of the 10 years of existence of the Porto Academy which started in July 2013. Porto Academy and Accademia di Mendrisio share the common ground of interest and passion for the discipline of architecture. This is reflected by the quality of the different guest tutors who are recognized by their work in the field of education and practice, but also for the students or practitioners who are also coming from a wide range of origins turning this into an international and multicultural experience of learning.

Participants will be visiting buildings by Aurelio Galfetti, Giuseppe Terragni, Livio Vacchini, Luigi Snozzi and Mario Botta.
