Located on the heights of Porto, the project proposes a holiday house in a steep slope of Caniçada, crossed by a creek, trying to take advantage of the privileged views over the landscape.
The site had a small house in a danger zone, because of caving of the slope. It was necessary to demolish it and build a new one.The new house was shifted from property boundary. So that the construction would not be prominent in the slope, overlooking the valley, it had to be fitted in the ground, like a rock.
